EU.CLIDES https://monsieurmala.com/All-My-Life Wed, 14 Feb 2024 20:29:13 +0000 Monsieur Mala https://monsieurmala.com/All-My-Life ALL MY LIFE NEW SINGLE / OCTOBER 22 Featuring the incisive vocals of rising hip-hop & soul vocalist Anna Kova, the track positions open communication as the bedrock of self-care. Rock influences sit at the forefront, but with a signature MÂLÂ twist. Anthemic electric mandolin lines interact with syncopated grooves and tasteful, twanged bass, whilst Kova’s vocals add further audio-intrigue. On the track, the band share: “The character in the song has been internalising their emotions all their life, and come to the conclusion that being open and vulnerable is the only way to overcome them. ” AVAILABLE NOW  https://monsieurmala.com/Fly-Fly Wed, 17 Jan 2024 10:15:13 +0000 Monsieur Mala https://monsieurmala.com/Fly-Fly FLY FLY NEW SINGLE / OCTO Following the success of two EPs across 2021-22 that introduced listeners to their idiosyncratic blend of innovative jazz fusion, Parisian powerhouse quintet Monsieur MÂLÂ return with ’Fly Fly’. Releasing on Thursday 30th November via Bridge The Gap, the composition is the first taster of their forthcoming debut album. Marking an organic evolution in the sound of the band, ‘Fly Fly’ has a celebratory tone, and pays tribute to Brazilian musical legend Gilberto Gil. The MÂLÂ gang reinvent the samba- funk wheel, integrating afrobeat grooves and a fusion of skipping highlife and folk-esque melodies, powerfully arranged for a distinctive mix of voice, violin and saxophone. The product of free-spirited musical research, the track continues the band's ability to shake up genres and escape stereotypes with sophisticated and authentic writing. On the track, the band share: “This is the MÂLÂ spirit: A palette of colours combined with the power of 5; surprising instrumentation serving sophisticated compositions, always screaming of simplicity. A musical gesture to say, show and share.”AVAILABLE NOW https://monsieurmala.com/Cor-Anglais-In-E-minor-op-3 Mon, 07 Jun 2021 06:23:45 +0000 Monsieur Mala https://monsieurmala.com/Cor-Anglais-In-E-minor-op-3 COR ANGLAIS IN E MINOR (op.3) NEW SINGLE / JUNE 21 The english horn goes smoothly from the Symphonic orchestra to the electro-jazz improvisation passing by baroque music  : Monsieur MÂLÂ comes back with an innovative and brand new genre with its many-faced new single, Cor Anglais in E minor (op.3).  AVAILABLE NOW    https://monsieurmala.com/Footer Fri, 29 May 2020 09:16:09 +0000 Monsieur Mala https://monsieurmala.com/Footer FOLLOW MÂLÂ!
